Passengers were seen walking along the tracks of the Sengkang-Punggol Light Rail Transit line on Friday (Aug 15) after a power fault disrupted services. The incident occurred just three days after a major breakdown on the Sengkang-Punggol LRT line, as well as the North-East MRT line. North East Line train services have fully resumed after a three-hour disruption caused by a power fault late Tuesday morning (Aug 12). The fault stranded commuters at 11 stations and also halted services on the Sengkang-Punggol LRT lines, which only partially resumed about five hours later.
